The Turbomax Smart Green 4ft Plastic Fenceposts are a strong, professional-grade option for electric fencing where additional height and durability are required. Standing 145 cm tall (approximately 122 cm above ground), these posts are well suited to horse track intermediate posts, larger pasture systems and situations where a taller fence line provides improved grazing control.

Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene, these posts are built to handle everyday UK farming conditions. The cross-ribbed structure and tapered tower profile give added rigidity, helping the post remain upright when fence lines are under tension or livestock apply pressure.

Multiple reinforced eyelets allow easy positioning of electric fence tape, rope or polywire, while twin top insulators make full use of the available post height. A reinforced tread plate provides secure footing when installing, and the injected 23cm ground spike ensures a good grip in the soil.

Our Opinion

These are a great choice where standard posts feel a little short. The added height makes a noticeable difference with horse fencing, especially with the top rope lug being right at the top of the post, and the green colour helps the fence sit more discreetly in the landscape. When you hold a bundle of these next to a bundle of regular 4ft posts, you’ll notice the difference – these are seriously meaty.
