The Turbomax Smart Green 3ft Plastic Fenceposts from Horizont are a heavy-duty, professional-grade option for temporary and semi-permanent electric fencing. If you’re looking for a meaty plastic fencepost then these are the ones to go for. Strong shaft with plenty lugs and a curved footplate which is stronger than all the competition.

Standing 115cm tall (approximately 92cm above ground), these posts are well suited to sheep, cattle, pigs and general pasture fencing, particularly for rotational or strip grazing systems where posts are regularly moved and reused.

Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene, the Turbomax Smart range uses a reinforced cross-ribbed structure and tapered profile to improve rigidity under tension. In simple terms, they stay upright when the fence is pulled tight and cope far better with livestock pressure than lighter economy posts.

Each post includes 11 eyelets suitable for electric fence tape, rope or polywire, along with two top insulators to make full use of the post height. A reinforced tread plate provides solid footing when pushing the post into harder ground, while the extra-thick 23cm spike ensures dependable anchoring across typical UK soil conditions.

Slightly taller and noticeably stronger than budget options — ideal if you’d rather put posts in once and get on with the job. The only possible downside would be is if you has stoney ground and the longer spike wasn’t able to get all the way in.
