We want you to be happy with your purchase from UK Countrystore. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
This policy applies to customers within the United Kingdom and is designed to comply with current UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act.
Your Right to Cancel
If you purchase goods online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly by email, phone, or in writing within 14 days of delivery.
Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods back, or evidence that they have been returned.
Condition of Returned Goods
Returned items must be:
Unused and in a resaleable condition
Returned with original packaging where possible
Complete with all accessories, instructions, and components
We reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund if goods show signs of unnecessary handling or use beyond what would reasonably be expected when inspecting the product.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:
A repair, replacement, or refund where goods are faulty
A full refund within 30 days of receipt for goods that are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described
Please provide photographs where possible to help us resolve the issue quickly.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be returned unless faulty:
Made-to-order or custom products
Perishable goods
Products cut to length or specially assembled
Sealed items that are unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons once opened
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Return Postage Costs
If returning an item because you have changed your mind, the customer is responsible for return postage costs.
If the item is faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly, we will arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return postage costs.
We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service, as returned goods remain the customer’s responsibility until safely received by us.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used when placing the order.
Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Additional delivery upgrades (such as premium or timed delivery services) are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us before returning the goods so we can advise on availability and the quickest way to proceed.
