Green Strip Grazing Kit

Description

This is an electric fence kit for horses that is powered by the Fenceman 350b 6v & 12v Energiser

With this fence energiser, there are options to power it by 4 D cell batteries which will give a 6v pulse (1 Km distance) or by a 12v battery (3 Km distance). The fencer’s pulse rate is full adjustable from 20 pulses per minute to 60 pulses per minute giving remarkable battery savings. Usually a horse who is not used to electric fencing will have the rate set to 60 pulses per minute and then 20 pulses per minute after a week or two.

D cell batteries can be slotted into the energiser housing or a 12v battery can be attached by the two connection leads (included) to the terminals on the underside of the energiser.

Connecting the energiser is easy with the wide steel terminal being clamped over the tape or rope and tightened to ensure a good connection for maximum effectiveness. If the energiser isn’t so close to the electric fence that it can touch the poly tape, then there are connection leads that should be used. The DP350B comes with a stand which can also double as a short earth stake and all the required connection leads for connecting to the fence, earth and to an external 12v battery are included in the box.

There is an LED indication light which blinks on every pulse and flashes rapidly when the battery is running low so you’ll never run out of power.

The kit comes with 3′ posts as standard. There is an option to upgrade the posts to our Tall (4ft) Posts, our NEW Turbomax Smart White 4ft Plastic Fenceposts too.

Also included in the kit is a small electric fence tester, a warning sign & a gate handle. We also include some ring insulators to start & end the fence with. Handy if there are wooden fenceposts or trees around the perimeter of the field as these will give you good anchor points.
