Description

This is an electric fencing kit for horses, powered by a Gallagher Solar energiser with Lithium battery, supplied with green plastic fence posts and 200m of 20mm green tape, along with everything needed to set up a practical and effective paddock fence.

The kit includes 20 plastic posts and a roll of 20mm green electric fence tape, making it well suited to temporary paddocks, strip grazing or dividing larger fields. Green tape offers a more subtle finish than white, which some prefer where visibility is less of a concern or for blending into surroundings.

You can choose from a range of Gallagher lithium solar energisers, depending on the length of fence and how much power you want on the line. These are compact, all-in-one units with built-in lithium batteries and solar panels, designed for use out in the field without the need for mains power or regular battery changes.

All energisers supplied with this kit come with a 7-year manufacturer warranty (when registered), giving long-term reliability and peace of mind.

Choose your energiser

• Gallagher S16Li (0.13J output)

Suitable for short strip grazing runs and small paddocks with clean fence lines up to around 1–1.5km.

• Gallagher S20Li (0.15J output)

A step up for short paddocks and light grazing setups up to around 2km.

• Gallagher S30Li (0.21J output)

A solid all-round option for general horse fencing, handling runs up to around 2–3km.

• Gallagher S60Li (0.52J output)

Best suited to longer fence runs or where a stronger pulse is needed, ideal for larger paddocks or more demanding setups.

All energisers include connection leads and are designed to be mounted on a post or earth stake (earth stake not included).

Posts are supplied as 3ft plastic posts as standard, with the option to upgrade depending on your setup. You can choose from standard 3ft posts, taller 4ft plastic posts for extra height, or our 4ft Turbomax Smart posts which are a stronger, more rigid option for a more heavy-duty fence line.

The kit also includes our “bag of bits”, which contains useful extras such as a gate handle, gate insulators, ring insulators, warning sign and a basic tester — items commonly needed depending on your fence layout.

This is a practical, adaptable kit that can be installed quickly and adjusted as your grazing setup changes.
