Description
This is a 6mm electric fencing rope with a tinned copper conductor going through it as well as stainless steel conductors. The tinned copper in the rope dramatically reduces the electrical resistance. This means the power goes further and fence voltage is maintained at longer distances.
This rope is primarily used to fence horse paddocks and fields but can be used with cattle and other animals that need a good, visible barrier.
The 5 stainless steel and 1 tinned copper conductor in the rope are all 0.2mm thick. This rope can be used on short electric fences but the benefit of having the tinned copper(often called a turbo line) is more noticeable on longer fencing. The tinned copper allows the current to travel further making the fences more effective.
As with all electric fence ropes, this connected by rope connectors. This will allow the current to go from one length of rope to another without dropping in power.
The breaking strain on this rope is 380Kgs and it is available in 200m & 400m lengths. Also available in Green & White here.
