Description

The Pro XL Turbo Polybraid 12 is a heavy-duty electric fencing braid designed for farmers who want a strong conducting line, which won’t kink or wear, with a good mix of stainless steel and tinned copper so the pulse is stronger and goes further. Based on our popular Pro XL Polytwine, this upgraded version is braided rather than twisted, making it noticeably tougher, more stable under tension and far better suited to regular field use.

This polybraid contains 12 high-quality conductors — 9 × 0.2 mm stainless steel wires and 3 × 0.25 mm tinned copper conductors. The stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, while the thicker copper wires significantly improve conductivity, helping maintain a strong, consistent pulse along longer fence runs.

Compared with standard polytwine, braided polybraid is stronger, more durable and less prone to stretching, tangling or wind damage, making it a better long-term choice where fences are moved frequently or left in place for extended periods. This makes the Pro XL Turbo Polybraid 12 particularly well suited to rotational grazing systems, as well as sheep and cattle fencing where reliability really matters.

Available in 500m and 1000m lengths, this polybraid is ideal for both short and long temporary fences. For customers using a reel system, you can expect around 500m to fit comfortably on a standard geared fencing reel, making it easy to deploy, rewind and store between moves.
