Description

This is a solid galvanised steel earth post made from angled iron in a T-shape.

The greater surface area of the T-shape increases conductivity by making it easier for the current to return through the ground to the energiser, thus completing the circuit and ensuring an effective shock.

Good earthing can account for up to 80% of the efficiency of your fence and having additional earth stakes a couple of metres apart can also help considerably, particularly recommended with longer fences, high powered energisers or very dry or sandy soil.

If buying 2 or 3 of these stakes, we discount the price and also include around 2m insulated cable (per additional earth stake) to connect them together.
