Cable To Rope Fence Connector

These are handy things to connect the powered insulated cable from an energiser to a rope fence which give the best connection possible.

When buying a mains energiser you don’t get any cables with it as the length needed from unit to fence is not known. Joining any insulated cable used to fence rope is otherwise a case of stripping the cable back and wrapping around the rope, or attaching at a gate insulator or similar. Using one of these makes the connection a whole lot easier and also gives a perfect electrical connection to the conducting wires in the rope.

Just strip back the insulation on your cable, insert into the end of the connector and crimp. If using pliers we suggest leaving a longer stripped end of cable & wrapping around the spade connector before crimping. This gives a good physical connection and prevents the cable from coming loose should the crimping by pliers not be strong enough.
