Description
The Liveryman Robin is a compact cordless trimmer that’s designed for the small jobs around the yard where a full-size clipper would be unnecessary. Small enough to slip into your pocket or grooming kit, it’s ideal for keeping handy whether you’re clipping at home or preparing a horse at a show.
Weighing just 148g, the Robin is comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre around awkward areas such as the ears, jawline, muzzle and bridle path. Its quiet motor and low vibration make it particularly useful for nervous or head-shy horses that don’t appreciate the noise and weight of larger clippers.
The rechargeable battery provides around 45 minutes of running time from a full charge, which is more than enough for routine trimming and last-minute touch-ups before a competition. Four guide combs (0.5mm, 2mm, 4mm and 6mm) are included, giving you a choice of cutting lengths depending on the finish you’re looking for.
Although primarily aimed at horse owners, the Robin is equally useful for trimming dogs and other small animals where a lightweight, quiet trimmer is preferred.
The Robin isn’t intended to replace a full-size clipper or even a larger horse trimmer. It’s designed for the finishing work that every horse owner ends up doing regularly — tidying ears, trimming around the head, cleaning up a bridle path or taking off the odd tuft of hair before heading into the show ring.
Simple, lightweight and easy to use, it’s the sort of trimmer that quickly becomes a permanent fixture in your grooming box because it’s always the right tool for those little jobs.
