Description

This is a heavy duty switch for electric fencing. It can be installed anywhere along the fence line to isolate power without having to go back to the fencer to switch on or off.

Most commonly used with mains energisers which are located within a building or some distance from the fence. This insulated switch simply screws onto a fence post, the power lead out cable from your energiser is attached to the connection terminal at one side and the terminal on the other side to the fence.

Can also be inserted anywhere along a fence line to isolate the power beyond that point. Screw the switch onto a fence post and create a break in the fence line, using start / end insulators to give a solid fixing point for the fence line at each side of the post. The terminals on the switch will take wire, but to connect poly-rope or tape, we recommend using a short length of insulated cable with a Cable To Rope Fence Connector or Cable To Tape Fence Connector to attach to the fence.
