This Gallagher BA20 is a lightweight 9v energsier ideally used to mobile and temporary fences.

The main advantage of this style of energiser is the 9v battery that runs them is very light so moving them from around is easy making them ideal for strip grazing & temporary paddocks. The down side is that these 9cv batteries are non-rechargeable. The alkaline batteries available can make this unit run for anything between 2/3 months when using a 55ah battery right up to a year when using a 200Ah one. It it can also be powered by an external 12v leisure battery with the addition of Connection Leads For 9v / 12v Energisers.

It packs a punch with an output joule rating of 0.12 and will power a fenceline of 1-2km.

It comes with the fence and earth connection leads as standard but note that no earth stake comes with this unit. We also offer the option to add a 9v battery so you can have this energiser working straight out of the box.

Sturdy wee unit perfectly suited to horse fencing and when a brand like Gallagher are so confident as to give it a 7 yr warranty* then you know it’s not going to let you down.

PLEASE NOTE: battery life is approximate and intended as a guide only – any fault on the fence may cause power leakage to earth and drain the battery more quickly. All 9v batteries are non-rechargeable dry cell batteries, for further information on 9v batteries, please see here
