Description

This is our ‘top of the range’ Turbo rope for electric fencing. It’s very long lasting rope with a turbo power conductors for a long distance fence. It has a high breaking strain and made from UV resistant polyethylene.

This has the same combination of stainless steel conducting lines as our Power Charge rope. The tinned copper is here slightly thicker at 0.25mm so the resistance will be lower and power from your energiser will go further.

Polyethylene rope is far more durable and hard-wearing than polypropylene. The difference is noticeable where the rope rubs an insulator, particularly at corners, as polypropylene tends to fray eventually but the polyethylene does not. This has a breaking strain of 420kg and a low electrical resistance of 0.25 Ohms/m making it perfectly suited to permanent or long distance fencing where strength and power is a must.

As with all ropes we recommend this is joined together with rope connectors to get maximum conductivity and we stock both a galvanised version here and stainless steel ones here.

Our Opinion
Our highest-spec rope. Hard wearing PE with UV protection means it will stand the test of time and the thicker tinned copper line drops the resistance to carry the pulse further.
