Solar Panel For Hotline Shrike

Description

This is a 2.5w solar assist panel to fit on and power the Hotline Shrike.

It works by powering the energiser directly. The internal batteries are only used when there is not enough daylight available. Normally the panel powers the Shrike and the internal batteries only kick in at dusk. The pulse is slightly faster when  powered by the panel but the energiser still gives out the same voltage.

To fit it, clip it into position on the top of the Shrike where it’s held securely. The panel can then be angled to catch the most sunlight and be tilted in any direction.

Fantastic piece of kit, and for the price, anybody with a Shrike is well advised to get it just for the peace of mind alone.
