This is a compact solar energiser that comes complete with an earth spike that is suitable for small animal & pet fencing that comes with a 7yr warranty
Simplicity is the key with this unit. The internal 6v battery is kept charged by the 2.2w solar panel and the fence is earthed by the unit’s earth terminal being the gripping teeth of the earth stake locking mechanism. This means you only need one cable which attaches to the fenceline from the power terminal.
It puts out 0.06 Output Joules giving a pulse of around 1000 volts (incl 500 Ohms resistance) which will reach around 500m so it’s quite a small shock, which is why we only recommend this for small / domestic animals.
Our opinion
Just what a small fencer for the garden needs to be – simple to set up and move around. The 7 year manufacturers warranty just confirms what a reliable piece of kit this is.
