Description

The BA30 is the big brother of the BA20 and is a lightweight 9v unit that is ideal for strip grazing and mobile fencing that needs a little more oomph.

Easily moved as a lightweight 9v battery sits inside the casing and the whole unit will weigh around 3kg. The batteries can run from 2/83 months for a 55Ah battery up to around 1 year for a 200Ah battery. Batteries for these units are non-rechargeable so you have to be wary of keeping the line free of foliage to prevent any earth leakages. These units can also run from a rechargeable 12v battery with connection cables (not included).

This unit will give a good shock and has 0.19 Output Joules and will power a fence 1-2km

It comes with the fence and earth connection leads as standard but does NOT come with an earth stake. This unit currently comes with a FREE 9v 55Ah battery but we also give the option to add another 9v battery. The free battery is part of the deal from Gallagher and cannot be upgraded to a larger size.

Our Opinion
Like all Gallagher units, the BA30 is a solidly built energiser. Nothing fancy, just a sturdy machine with on/off switch & pulse light. Gallagher are so confident as to give it a 7 yr warranty* then you know it’s not going to let you down.

PLEASE NOTE: battery life is approximate and intended as a guide only – any fault on the fence may cause power leakage to earth and drain the battery more quickly. All 9v batteries are non-rechargeable dry cell batteries, for further information on 9v batteries, please see here
