These 40cm long distance insulators will hold the electric fencing rope, twine or wire around 13″ away from the fence post when screwed in position.
There is a very well machined screw-head on the end to make screwing these insulators into position a fairly simple task and at 8mm thick steel, they are the strongest offset insulator for horses on the UK market. The pigtail end on these posts is an extension of the steel shaft (not an additional piece) and has a thick green plastic coating which is UV resistant.
