Description

This is a digital voltage tester for electric fencing with an LCD digital display.

With an effective range from 300v up to 9,900v pulse voltage, the easy-to-read LCD display shows an accurate voltage reading in kilovolts (if a value of 6.0 is shown, this means that there’s a voltage of 6.0 kilovolt or 6,000 volts).

Smart power technology enables the tester to switch on and off automatically.

To use, simply push the earth probe into the soil and touch the live fence wire with the testing prod at the top of the unit. The tester will turn on automatically with the first pulse and will display the voltage reading. It will continue to measure the pulse voltage until the testing prod is removed from the live fence wire. The reading will be displayed for 4 seconds, and if there’s no further pulse detected, the tester will automatically switch off after another 4 seconds.

Fantastic quality, reliable unit at a great price. Very robust build with firmly moulded wire to the sturdy earth prong. We love the large, easy to read LCD display and the smart power feature so you’re not wasting battery and it’ll switch itself off.
