Description
This is an entry level electric fence energiser for which works from both works from 12v & 240v mains and is proving popular as a strip gazing unit. A very simple, compact and straightforward unit which will power up to 4km of fencing.
Made in Germany, it has 0.5 Output Joules and pushes out a max of 8,400v & 1,460 with 500 Ohms resistance. It also has a low power consumption of 57mA.
The optional stand earth spike can be bolted on the back and used to hold the electric fence energiser up off the ground while providing a good earth. Ideally it should be attached to a separate earth 1m spike but as this tends to be used to separate fields, using the stand as an earth is fine.
There is a light on the front of the unit that flashes on every pulse. Ideal strip grazing fencer or for anyone with a couple of small paddocks. Also becoming popular for scare lines around pheasant pens.
This is not suitable for netting.
