Description
These are heavy duty 60cm long distance insulators for electric fences. The steel is 8mm thick and when screwed into the posts the conducting line will sit around 20″ from the fence post. The pigtail end is an extension of the main shaft with a thick insulated sleeve rather than an additional piece that could snap off.
Mainly used for stallion fencing although becoming increasingly popular for raising the height of an existing fence. Can hold tape, rope, twine and wire.
Extra insulation clips can be added to these giving additional powered lines and they can be found here. We also stock a 5″ and a 13″ version of these insulators.

Our Opinion
A very heavy duty distance insulator which will probably outlast the fence post! The extra length makes them worth their weight in gold if you’re needing to keep stallions away from a fence.
