These are a couple of insulators which bolt onto steel gateposts to make a secure opening in a tape fence. Both are strong insulators that can take up to 40mm tape. They will keep your gates looking tidy and as there are no knots, all the power from your fence wil be transferred from one side of the gate to the other.
On the hinge post, the insulator simply clamps the fence by holding the tape tight in the cushioned pads. This will keep the tension on the line even when the gate handle is unhooked.
The insulator with the steel plate goes on the 'latch post'. This allows a handle to hook into it and allows power to be transferred into the continuing tape. The tape on the other side from the handle, is threaded though a couple of slits before continuing down the field.
Supplied with bolts (M6 thread) for securing to steel posts.
