The Xperience from Heiniger is a very powerful clipper suitable for heavy-duty work, with a lightweight and comfortable design that makes it really easy to use. This 2023 model now boasts a 2-speed motor giving more control when clipping.

The 200w permanent magnet motor has enough power to cope with most jobs and the 'soft-start' feature protects the long life of the motor and also helps prevent spooking nervous animals. The motor is very quiet running and the clippers are easy to switch on and off with one hand. The slimline handle is just 15.2cm around the narrowest point and the comfortable grip means your hands won't tire too quickly.

Their design means they have more torque on the blades than other comparable clippers, and the air-cooling also helps direct cut hair away from the horse and operator as well as cooling the clippers.

The Xperience is surprisingly lightweight for such a powerful, heavy-duty clipper and the well-balanced, ergonomic grip makes them very easy to operate.

Our Opinion

Delighted to see a slimline clipper from Heiniger and are very impressed at the punch it packs. 200 watts with a permanent magnet motor means oodles of oomph just when you need it. It is a bit longer than other clippers which may make it tricky when clipping smaller horses but other than that this has to be one of the best clippers to come on the market in years.
