This electric fencing kit for horses is powered by the Fenceman B430 energiser. This is a very portable 9v battery energiser with two power output settings and a battery warning light. It's an ideal kit for strip grazing and mobile or temporary horse fencing especially if you're used to 9v energisers but have a horse that tests the fence a little bit more than most or is rugged in winter.

The energiser comes with it's own earth stake and stand with mounting bracket, and connection leads to attach a 9v battery. It's a sturdy unit with a compartment to house a 9v battery inside and a strong carry handle so it's very easy to just lift and move around the field. It has two power output settings making it quite versatile. On the higher power setting, it has an output joule rating of 0.3J which will easily power up to 3km of fencing. The low power setting of 0.15 output joules will power up to 1.5km and conserve battery life for around twice as long. The unit has a battery warning light which starts to flash when the battery life drops below 7.75v and indicates it's time to buy a replacement battery.

The B430 kit comes with a 55Ah Alkaline 9v battery as standard so your package has everything to assemble an operational fence when it arives. You can upgrade your choice of battery with the kit via the drop down box above. There is a choice of alkaline type 9v batteries in different sizes. The kit comes with 3' posts as standard. There is an option to upgrade the posts to our Tall (4ft) Posts, our NEW 4' Posts with Double Footplate, our heavyweight Superior 4' Tall Posts, our NEW Extra Tall [4'6") Stirrup Posts or our Extra Tall [4'6") Posts

The tape is a 200m roll of our white 20mm polytape, this has four stainless steel conductors running through it and it's ideal for medium length horse fencing. If you need extra posts and tape you can buy additional rolls of this 20mm tape, and extra posts to extend your fencing if necessary.

Also included are a gate handle and some ring insulators to make some solid fixing points, a basic tester and a warning sign.

NB Kits with the extra tall posts (4'6") can only be delivered with a 48hr service due to their size and cannot be delivered to N Ireland, Highlands & Islands and some AB postcodes.

Please Note: It is highly recommended that this energiser is used with an Alkaline battery. Please see options in drop down list for selection of Alkaline batteries.
