These are 7mm thick steel fencing posts with an insulated pigtail top. The total length is 105cm including the spikes and when in the ground the height of the top wire is 89cm. Made as a long lasting mobile electric fencing post these are mainly used for short term fences to strip graze fields with cattle but are suited to other animals.
The top insulator is an extension of the posts shaft that has been twisted round and has an outer skin of thick plastic to insulate a live fenceline. This type of post top is the strongest you will find as most steel fencing posts have their tops added seperately and over time they have a tendency to come off.
